Updated:

I now have a complete understanding of the fights mechanics to the last detail after extensive log crawling and writing a boss mod for encounter.

FIrst and foremost, Skewer and Seething Hate are on a shared mechanic. They are both exactly a 20 second CD, there will always be 2 casts of each between each Blade Dance. Only 1 cast of each before first blade dance of fight though since it comes earlier then 1 minute. Skewer is always cast on the current aggro target (hopefully the tank). Seething Hate is cast on a random target in raid. This CAN target tanks and will destroy them if they don't share it with some people. This never targeted tanks before but I guess something broke. tanks will need a couple extra soakers to manage seething hate.

So here is how fight lays out from engage

Pull:
1. 6-8 seconds in she will either cast Seething Hate OR Skewer, which one is cast is random.
2. About 8 seconds after first one, she'll cast the one she didn't cast.
3. ~~35 seconds after pull~~ 25-40 seconds after engage she does first Blade Dance.

*Blade Dance Starts:
She will swirl around the room exactly like Lord Marrowgar but without the fancy fire (Wait until you see what i coded into DBM for this, *sinister grins). This means, she zips to a current player, stops there for a couple seconds, picks a new player and zips again, repeats until buff fades. The entirety of this phase is to constantly stay moving.

Blade Dance ends:
1. After any time a Blade Dance ends, 8 seconds later just like pull, she'll cast randomly either Skewer or Seething Hate. There is no way to know which one it will be definitively
2. 8 seconds after previous, she'll cast opposite spell.
3. 20 seconds after first special was used that special will be used again
4. 20 seconds after second special was used that special will be used again.
5. Next Blade Dance will come after both specials have been cast twice. Which is 60 seconds after last.

**Seething Hate was really undertuned on PTR. It has since been buffed by about double to about 200k before resists. You more or less hug 2 extra people and it is completely trivial. It's really not even worth entire raid grouping up for. If it did Just run to the melee or somewhere there is a cluster, get rid of it and spread back out before Blade Dance.

Trash:
***There are 2 trash mobs (NPC: Disciple of Hate) that replace the old Eye of Occu'thar trash mobs. Both have blade dance ability, in fact it's exact same spellid as one she uses. The trash however do not have the bosses other abilities, and instead use blade dance about twice as often (about every 30 seconds instead of every 60). At present though their blade dance is different from hers in regard that it stops doing the actual whirlwind mid cast, so it's safe to move back in half way through the cast, but you still gotta hold your casts until the blade dance buff is gone. They also have a ability tanks will want to swap for called Run Through.

A good way to get around the Immune to Taunts is to have hunters use Misdirection and Rouges use Tricks of the Trade.

those are both temp threats now, so not as useful as they once were. It'd only help honestly if tanks had perfectly even threat, which just won't happen with off tank generating little to no vengeance. two warrior tanks can do it with ease tho. with cross vig to keep vengeance drom dropping too much while not tanking, and their intervene CD is low enough to just wipe eachothers threat and even eat a melee swing for debuffed tank. paladins have salv but it's a long CD. you can also like mentioned just hand of protection tank with debuff, she'll just melee the other tank and the hand of protection will fade and she'll return to that tank after debuff is gone.

EDIT: the taunt immune thing is fixed anyways. So the fight is back to tank and spank.

Lorewise she was held in the Violet Hold but was turning the prison guards against each other. She was transfered to Baradin Hold before the Cataclysm took place.

Patch 6.0.2 - 579 BM Undead Hunter

First two bosses of Baradin Hold are burst and burn, no strategy needed.
Then good ole' Alizabal.

I tried every which way to burst her down, but without success. No matter how much dps I'd put on her, anywhere from 35% to 25% health left, she'd double up on me with Seething Hate, the double hit was too much for Deterrence, and I'd die. Hunters are too squishy, not enough damage mitigation via armor, not enough healing to recover quickly enough.

I tried kiting with the pet, feigning death, nothing worked. Then I got an idea...

I parked my pet just a little ways away from her and positioned myself just inside the doorway, just close enough that I drink Virmen's Bite, launch Stampede, Beastial Wrath, Kill Command, Glaive, then Disengage out the door as the door closed. I used a spirit beast, and that allowed me to heal from outside the door. I could really only hit Kill Command but it was slowly bringing her down. The first try, she came through the door during Blade Dance and I backed up trying to keep from getting hit while engaging her, and she despawned at 33%.

So the second time, I stood right in with her as she came through the door during Blade Dance, deterred (not sure I needed to) and kept using spirit mend and kill command so my pet could drop her down.

This worked, was able to down her, now a second time this week. It can take a little bit of technique to get it right, this week she was able to hit me with seething hate even as I was outside the door, twice, not sure how, but I kept at it and downed her.

Solo'd today as a level 90 Retribution Paladin, wiped at least 10 times (good thing you don't get durability damage from wiping at this boss). Used Seal of Truth and Sacred Shield. My strategy was to burst her as hard as I could at the start (Avenging Wrath and Holy Avenger) while keeping up Sacred Shield and remove her first Seething Hate with my Divine Shield. When she Skewers you (note that the stun can't be pvp-trinketed), you should be able to survive through it. Use Flash of Light to heal up to full health as she uses Blade Dance and burst the last of her health down. She will cast Seething Hate on you again, and it has high chances of killing you, but if you heal with a Master Healing Potion, you will be able to pull it trough. Might be easier with a Potion of Mogu Power to pre-pot.

Solo strategy for hunters:

Take Exhiliration, Glyph of Animal Bond, Glyph of Liberation and Stampede. You shouldn't take Lone Wolf for Glyph of Animal Bond to work.

Solo 25 strategy for Mage:
Patch 6.1, ilvl 655 Arcane Mage
Talents: Mirror Image, Supernova, Alter Time, Arcane Orb (for faster Arcane Charge buildup)

Use a Draenic Int pot, Time Warp, and Mirror Image before the pull, then start nuking. I open with Arc Blast/Arc Orb/PoM/Arc Blast/Arc Power/Arc Blast/Nova/Nova, then nuke with blast or missiles as available. Getting the timing down on Alter Time can be tricky -- you want to use it at full health, but not be dead before it triggers 10 seconds later. If you didn't time it right you can manually trigger it.

ilvl 661 assassination rogue... got my butt handed to me the first time because I didn't know about the searing hate mechanic that was NOT tuned down in 6.0 and hits like a truck still. The second time, I cloaked off the debuff after the first tick and burned her down with plenty of time to spare before it could be cast a second time.

25 man- Seething Hate still hits like a truck as of Jul 2015. As a DK, in frost, pop cooldowns and just blast. Should get her before you die. She dropped right before the killing tick got me. Good loot though, gold worth dying once for, but not more than that.

Wiped a half a dozen times, but I got her. Buffed, pet out. Bubble up. Lead with comet storm and frozen orb. Popped icy veins. Burned her down with frostbolt and ice lance/frost fire bolt props until she was about to cast the shadow thing, then I hit ice block, and continued to burn her down after that fell off. Blinked away from the comet storm. Barely made it, but finally got her down.
