My personal favorite pre-MC tanking off hand. It's nice because of it's speed, perfect for laying down sunders fast. If you're more into PVPing then I suggest getting two and trying that out. You'd be surprised how much damage you can do at this speed with duel +15 agility enchants on them. Also easily obtainable due to the fact it's a boe. For casters, it's good money too! Although, buyers beware, don't pay more than 35g.

Very fast sword and truly imba as Rogue off hand. GG. All tho, sinse you get stuff alot better from outland you shouldn't pay too much for this (considering it might stay 'till there)

A reference from the movie Kill Bill, where a Hatori Hanzo blade is made for Beatrix Kiddo (Uma Thurman). They use the same animation, both from the movie and the game.

Seriously people. These kinds of comments on world drops make me wonder how long it takes before Wowhead becomes the next Thottbot.

And i noticed my Hanzo Sword has sockets in it!
I purchased some gems.. and i can soket.. LOL
I dunno ifg its client error, or it is ther for a reason..

The chance on hit procs quite rately (my sample size so far isn't enough to give an accurate number, but it seems to be around 2-3%). Since it's physical it is reduced by armor, and the highest I've had it hit for was 51 damage. It can crit though, presumably using your own crit percentage, and does double damage when it happens.

In practice, the damage contribution from the proc is neglible, but the fast speed and high dps still makes this a desirable weapon for certain classes/specs.

Very good Rogue off-hand although the Dazzling Longsword is as good if not better and attainable at level 36.

Why spend 50g on this and use it for eight levels when you can spend 100g and use the weapon for twenty four levels?

I'd get a Longsword. Plus the proc' scales with gear to a certain degree unlike this weapon's.

My rogue has had a pair of these since level 50 (now 56) with the Fiery weapon enchant and hasn't regretted it at all. Fast speed = quick stacking of poison DoT's and combo points.

If you're looking for a similar-looking sword, the Skystrider Katana is a world green drop in outlands. It uses the same model and looks very samurai/ninja ;)

Also in mission "Blackrock & Roll, Too!" of Warcraft 3 there was orc leader named Khanzo. Probably this is his sword.

With the transmogrification feature being introduced in patch 4.3, this weapon will undoubtedly be one of the most sought after skins. Finally, you can raid end-game content as a ninja!

One of the more desirable Japanese themed items.

Found one in a chest while questing a couple days ago. Sold it for 2500g the first time I listed it. I thought I'd have to price it closer to 1000g but if I wanted one and didn't have it, I'd probably have paid 2500 it myself. And apparently I'm not alone in that thinking.

Gone are the days when you could pick stuff like this up for 20g.

Can someone clarify whether this sheaths to back or not, because reading the comments here I first assumed it does not, but then I saw a pandaren monk in game with two swords that were transmogged to this, and they sheathed to back. I'm confused. Maybe they changed it?

If you are a fury warrior doing the 1H thing, and if you have the glyph http://www.wowhead.com/item=104138... just get two of these swords in your bag and you got them on your back if your equipped weapons sheath on your back. Added bonus, they don't need to be soulbound.
