I've got this along withVenomspitter, and the proc rates on the 3 different poisons aren't bad, no to mention the dps of the weapons are pretty good for the level. However the speeds of the weapons, are a bit of a letdown, the dagger isnt slow enough to be a good MH for ambush, and the mace is too fast for good SS dmg, so it kinda limits some dps as well. But its still fun having these variety of poisons to play with. I got both of the weapons in 1 run, so I'm happy =).

you have no idea just how lucky you are to get both in 1 run,

its like a 1/10 x 1/10 chance to get fang of the crystal spider, then some stupidly low chance to get the venomspitter.

gratz, just for clarification on the proc from set:

the '10 second net' is a POISON proc, meaning vanish(possibly other remove impairment effects as well) will not remove it (last time i checked) also there is no internal cooldown as far as i can tell and there are NO diminishing returns.

all in all the proc is pretty awesome and i consider it one of the best in the game

Got it on my first ever run of this instance, SilverDragon warned me there was "Crystal Fang" in there, so I killed it... can't use it I'm a mage :-(

I keep this set on my rogue for fun duels. It's funny when people are stuck in a 10-sec root (for melee classes I can often get re-stealths off of it haha).

It should also be noted that -- unlike other old items with cool chance-on-hit effects -- this set's proc doesn't appear to scale down with level. I think it has something to do with the fact it's a set bonus rather than a chance-on-hit effect as the poison and attack speed procs happen far less frequently.
