Could be pretty good, depending on the proc rate. But as a warrior or rogue it should be no problem with flurry / SS / slice and dice.

a level 49 rouge or fury warrior would not use that, In my mind I was a fury warrior at that, I am not braging but all my gar at that level was much better then that, I would normally see a ( Power leveled character) with an item like that there is a way to see how good the proc is go to a battle ground with a group of friend sin pvp one healer on each side 2v2 skrim and hit another plate warrior or a paladin that allot f work but it kind of gives you an idea of how goos that item rely is,

I would take something else for main hand as a rogue. Its top end is rather low for a SS build. I guess it would be fine for a hemo spec?

Proc rate could make all the difference!

Procs fairly often, and if in the unlikely occasion it procs again with the previous still up, it stacks to two charges, resetting the duration.

Unsure to what extent it can stack, but at a 3 second duration, even two is unlikely.

(Edit: may not have been a stack but rather the duration just being reset)

Seems to me like this procs very rarely and for a very short time but still a nice sword!! :)

I'd estimate this around a 1 ppm, but for a quick 90 damage over 3 seconds, 3x30dmg ticks, it's not bad at all.
The nice short duration means it's not likely to interfere with a Gouge.

It's still best suited to people who get run through ST as soon as possible, so they can use this right from level 49 onwards.

This is an excellent sword for combat rogues for the 49s bracket. Best used in OH with something like "Thrash Blade" or "Bloodrazor" (if you're twinking) in your MH.

The AP bonus really helps along with its chance on hit, and its speed is relatively fast (making it good for poison applications).

hey guys i was wondering
i am a lvl 48 combat rogue
im dual wielding thrash blade (MH) and vanquishers sword (oh)
and would this make a better off hand than vanquishers sword or should i go after the fist weapon claw of cerebras from Maraudon?

It's not "relatively fast", the speed is about as awful as it can be for both MH and OH use.

If you want to compete in the 40-49 bracket, spec Subtlety and choose a fast off hand with good stats,

Ive used this with firebreather and they look and play great together

The proc is called "Corruption" given the same icon as the warlock's spell of the same name. It does exactly what it says in my experience, 90 shadow damage over 3 seconds, or 30 shadow damage each second. I did not witness any critical damages.

Levelling my paladin as prot specced, jumped into ST and this dropped. Put lifestealing on it for a nice bonus. Should last until Outlands.

How did you put lifesteal on it? Lifesteal requires lvl 60 item and this one is lvl 49 with an ilvl of 54.

Took a while to repost lol but anyway, where did you read lifestealing is a lvl60 enchant? It says: has a reduced effect for players over lvl60

i plan on keeping this blade just because it like the way it looks.

although i dont think i've seen it proc once since ive had it, and i duel wield them at the moment as a rogue.
